Shawsheen Alumni Association – Legacy Scholarship

May be used for tools, or a 2 or 4 year post-secondary. At least one parent must have attended Shawsheen. Application packets will be distributed. Check will be awarded at Scholarship Night.

Shawsheen Alumni Association – Women in Business & Technology

A female student either in the Electronics, Internet or Business shops with good leadership activities, pursuing engineering, technology or a business degree. Check will be sent directly to school or college.
Wilmington Community Fund
$1,000
Wilmington residents only. Must have completed community service throughout their four years at Shawsheen and plan to attend a four-year college or to be used for tools for their trade. Student must submit essay describing community service work. Information is available in the Guidance Office. Check will be sent to school upon receipt of grades.
Brian P. Sullivan Memorial Scholarship
$500
Must be a student in the HVAC-R shop who works to the best of their ability, not necessarily the top student in the class – the one that works the hardest. Also a student that is not receiving other awards. May be used for tools and equipment, post-secondary trade school, or a 2-4 year college. Check presented on Scholarship Night.
John Alton Reynolds Memorial Scholarship
$500
Open to all students. Can be used for 2 or 4 year post-secondary, as well as tools and equipment. Student must have the ambition and stamina to perform to the best of his/her ability, as well as friendly, courteous and polite to his/her peers. Check will be presented on Scholarship Night.
James M.R. Langille Memorial Scholarship
$500
Open to students pursuing a career in the medical field. Student must write a letter detailing why they would like to pursue a career in medicine. Check sent after receipt of bill for second semester.
Cummings Foundation Merit Award
$1000
Open to outstanding college-bound seniors and based upon scholarship, community service, reputation for fairness and integrity and a demonstrated concern for helping others. Check sent directly to school upon verification of enrollment.
Café Escadrille Culinary Arts Scholarship
$1500
Open to culinary students, students interested in hotel/restaurant management or the food service/hospitality field. Check will be sent directly to school upon verification of enrollment.
Ted Ferguson Memorial Scholarship
3 @ $500
Open to residents of Burlington. May be used for tools or equipment, 2 or 4 year college or post-secondary trade school. Check will be presented on Scholarship Night.
Tewksbury/Wilmington Lodge of Elks Scholarship
2 @ 500 (1 Male/1 Female)
Open to residents of Tewksbury or Wilmington. May be used for a 4 year college only. Criteria include academics, community service, financial need (single parent, disabled, more than one sibling in school). Check will be sent directly to school upon verification of enrollment.
Shawsheen Alumni Association – David Dutile Scholarship
$500
Open to students entering the fields of Electrical, Carpentry or Plumbing. Applications may be found on the Shawsheen Alumni webpage.
New England Police Benevolent Association, Local 5A-5B
$500
Open to residents of Billerica. Can be applied to a 2 or 4 year college. Must be going into the field of law enforcement or criminal justice. Check will be sent to student upon receipt of first semester grades.
Tewksbury Youth Football & Cheerleading
$500-$1,000
Open to residents of Tewksbury that participated in Tewksbury Youth Football for at least 5 years. May be used for tools or equipment, or for a 2 or 4 year college. Check will be sent directly to student to be used at his/her discretion for tools or tuition.
Dunn Industries Scholarship

Open to Machine Shop and Business Tech students. Check will be presented at Scholarship Night.
