Library & Technology Department

The Shawsheen Tech Library was established to meet the shop and academic informational needs of students, teachers, and staff. To meet the school's commitment to providing students with computer and research skills, a series of courses and workshops is offered to Shawsheen students throughout their four years here. Tenth grade students spend ten periods (during their related class) in a shop based Research Skills Workshop, learning about utilizing print, automated, and computer library research tools. Library staff regularly offers customized workshops and seminars in support of both academic and vocational programs to introduce and reinforce research as a skill of lifelong importance.

Library Hours:
The Library is open before school at 7:00 AM daily and remains open after school until 3:05 PM on Monday-Thursday. On Friday, the Library closes at 2:14 PM.

Students may visit throughout the day, including lunch, with a pass.
