• Welcome

Welcome to the new Shawsheen Valley Technical High School district web site!  Our purpose is to provide as much information as possible about our school programs and student accomplishments.  Committed to report information timely and effectively, we update the site daily.

Shawsheen Tech opened its doors in 1970.  Buoyed by alumni successes, public investment in our school programs has paid huge dividends to the local area producing well-educated citizens with skill sets and competencies adding tremendous value to our local economy.

Please take time to visit our site continuously.  From the daily updates, you will learn more about our opportunities for area youth; our expanding post secondary educational opportunities; and how we meet local labor market needs by providing well trained craftsmen, technicians, and artisans.  Ask us questions.

Most of our graduates are accepted into various colleges.  But many begin to gain valued business experience upon graduation.  Seek opportunities to employ our students in a cooperative employment opportunity to see first hand the value of career vocational technical education.  If you are interested in submitting an application for acceptance consideration, submit an on-line application.  During the past three years, we have been forced to accept only 50% of submitted applications.

Our school adds to its forty-year tradition of excellence with constant investment.  Watch us grow with the new Life-Science wing expansion.  Watch our sport teams compete successfully in varied interscholastic programs and our student excel in Skills USA competitions.  But most importantly, capture the essence of being a member of the Ram family by visiting this site continuously and by providing your input to ensure we continue to improve the opportunities we are privileged to provide the residents of our member communities.

Public records requests to the school district should be directed to the Superintendent-Directors office.
