Shawsheen Valley Technical School invites prospective students and their families to its winter Open House on Wednesday evening January 22, 2025, from 6-8 pm. This event offers a view into the school's academic, career, and vocational-technical programs, with the added attraction of hands-on activities in each vocational program.

Quarter 2 mid-term grades close today. Progress reports will be published and available to view in the Aspen Family portal by the end of next week. Late bus transportation is available for students so they can stay after with teachers, as needed, for extra help. Students are encouraged to take advantage of this resource as we look ahead to quarter 2 grades closing on Friday, January 24.

Shawsheen Valley Technical High School Principal's Update Friday, November 8, 2024 Dear Shawsheen Students, Families, and Colleagues: Quarter 1 Reports Cards, Exploratory Report Cards (for cycles 1-4), and Failure Letters have been published and are available to view in Aspen. Additionally, hard copies of Q1 Failure Letters have been mailed home. Next week, we will share information about students who on the Honor Roll and High Honor Roll for their exceptional performance during the first quarter. Please note: We are aware there is an ASPEN issue (“this page is not working” or white screen) that is preventing some students and families from logging into Aspen, and we have notified the company. Shawsheen Valley Technical School's Annual Trunk or Treat Brings Community Together for Fun and Charity

Shawsheen Valley Technical School celebrated another successful annual Trunk or Treat, bringing together over 550 participants and local families for a Halloween event filled with fun, philanthropy, and school spirit. Organized by the senior members of the National Honor Society (NHS), this year’s event featured over 35 uniquely decorated trunks, festive music, interactive activities, and plenty of treats—all in support of "Treat the Troops," a nonprofit dedicated to sending care packages to soldiers stationed overseas.

Students and families are reminded that staff are available after-school for extra help at least two days per week, the library is staffed after school until 5:30pm every Monday-Thursday

They sold me on studying engineering. I’ve always liked building things with my hands, not sitting in an office developing plans or considering theories. So I decided to become an HVAC technician.
