Dear Shawsheen Students, Parents/Guardians, and Colleagues,

I'd like to send a special shout out to our Guidance Department for a successful College & Career Fair last night! The College & Career Fair featured 72 representatives and over 400 people attended the event. Thank you to the students and families who were able to join us last night - we hope this experience gave you the opportunity to gather more information as you make decisions about your postsecondary plans. One of our guidance counselors, Ms. Terry Henry, shared with me this morning that countless representatives commented positively on the interactions they had with our students last night. Specifically, they shared that our students were some of the most prepared they had ever seen, as evidenced by the thoughtful questions they asked and the engaging conversations they had. Our students always make us proud!
