Dear Shawsheen Students, Families, and Colleagues:

We look forward to seeing parents/guardians at our Meet & Greet next Thursday from 6pm - 8pm. As a reminder, please arrive early and report to your starting location prior to 6pm since the schedule will begin promptly at 6pm on Thursday, September 26, 2024. The academic schedule rotations will follow your student’s Thursday academic week schedule. Please bring a copy of your child’s schedule with you, or have it available for reference on your phone. If you need a printed copy, please report to the SVTHS library prior to 5:50pm to get one to ensure you are able to report to designated classrooms on time. Registration Info for the PSAT-11

The following message is from the SVTHS Guidance Department:

The PSAT for 11th grade students is scheduled for Wednesday, October 30th from 8:00-10:30AM here at Shawsheen. The cost of the test is $20, and students will be signed up on a first come, first served basis. You cannot sign up unless you have cash or a check made out to Shawsheen Tech for $20.00. Registration forms can be found in the guidance office and can be turned in now through Thursday, October 3rd during homeroom outside the guidance office.

Shawsheen Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC)

The following message is from the SVTHS Support Services Department:

The Shawsheen SEPAC will hold their first meeting of the 2024-2025 school year on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 6pm in the school library. Please review the flyer below for more information.

Vote for Student/Guardian School Council Representatives

Information was sent via email and text message this morning to parents/guardians of Shawsheen students regarding the candidates and how to vote for the three (3) open positions on the School Council for parent/guardian representatives. Only parents and legal guardians of current Shawsheen students are eligible to vote in the election.

Homecoming Dance 9/25

The annual Homecoming Dance is Wednesday, September 25th in the School Cafeteria from 6:30pm-9:00pm. Dress is causal and no outside guests allowed. Tickets are on sale in the School Store during lunches for $20 each or you can purchase your tickets online by clicking here.

Spirit Week 9/23-9/27

Students are encouraged to dress with the following themes:

Pep Rally 9/27

The annual Homecoming Pep Rally will be held on Friday, September 27th. Students will be dismissed from the pep rally. Reminder: this is a half-day of school.

Alumni 5k Run/Walk 9/28

The following message is from the Alumni Association Advisor, Mr. Bendel:

Shawsheen Tech Alumni and Friends 5k Saturday, September 28th.
Registration on day of the Run is 8:30AM near the gym entrance. Our race starts at 9:00AM.
All current Shawsheen students run for free!
