Today marks the mid-term for the first quarter of the school year. Quarter one mid-term progress reports will be published and available to view in Aspen by Friday, October 10, 2025. Students and families will be notified when progress reports are published.

Reminder for SENIORS! Cap & Gown Orders are Due in 3 Weeks (by Friday, October 24)

Orders for graduation cap & gown packages must be placed with Jostens by Friday, October 24, 2025. There are a number of package options to choose from when placing your order. Students and families are welcome to order any packages they would like, but the only items that are required for the graduation ceremony (gown, cap, tassel, and stole) are all included in the option labeled "Graduation Kit Cap, Gown, Tassel" at a cost of $38. Financial Aid Night for Juniors & Seniors - Wednesday, November 12

The SVTHS Guidance Department invites Junior & Senior SVTHS Students & families to join us for a Financial Aid Night presentation in the school auditorium on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 6pm - 7:30pm. Information will be presented by Amy Staffier, Director of Financial Aid at Simmons University. The following topics will be covered during that presentation:

  • Financial Aid Applications

  • Types of Financial Aid

  • Factors that Determine Aid Eligibility

  • How Colleges Determine Amount of Aid to Offer

  • Details on Financial Aid Offers

MCAS Score Reports - Class of 2027

Individual MCAS Score Reports from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education have been mailed home to students in the Class of 2027 (current juniors). Those score reports provide families with details about individual student performance on MCAS exams administered during sophomore year.

Reminder: School Photo Make-up Day Scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, 2025

Smile-Pro Portraits will be here the morning of Wednesday, November 5, 2025 to photograph any students that were absent on our original photo days, or who need to re-take their photos.  Students without photos will automatically be scheduled to have their photos taken that day. If you want your student to re-take their photo on November 5, please email Brittney Ferguson by Friday, October 31, 2025. If you have any questions or need assistance for anything photo related (including ordering photos), please reach out to Smile-Pro directly.
