November Issue of the Shawsheen Connection
Dear Shawsheen Community,
There is so much to celebrate here at Shawsheen. Our number-one-seed football team continues to advance and is now headed to the semifinals after taking down St. Mary’s last weekend. We’ll be cheering them on as they face the North Reading Hornets TONIGHT at 6:30 p.m. at Danvers High School. Let’s show up for them!
We also had a fantastic turnout at last week’s Open House, where future Rams and their families explored our campus and met our staff and students. It was an exciting evening filled with energy, curiosity, and pride in the many opportunities Shawsheen offers.
In this month’s newsletter, we’re highlighting the importance of career and service, beginning with service to our country. Leaving Shawsheen to serve is not uncommon, and we are deeply grateful to the veterans within our community who have served and continue to serve.
We are also celebrating the many pathways our students and alumni take on their road to success. Whether that path leads to service, college, a technical career, or a new direction entirely, Shawsheen is proud to support each journey. You’ll see just a few of those stories in this issue, knowing they represent only a fraction of the remarkable paths our Rams pursue.
Wishing you and your families a safe, restful, and joyful holiday season. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Shawsheen Tech.
