Dear families,

We’re thrilled to share that we’re heading to Italy in Spring 2027, and we’d love for your student to join us!

This is an incredible opportunity for students to explore new places, experience different cultures, and gain lifelong skills like independence and confidence. I’ll be sharing all the details, including what we’ll see and do, hands-on learning activities, academic opportunities, trip costs, and how to secure a spot at our informational meeting.

Meeting details:

📅 Date: December 18

🕒 Time: 6:00 PM

📍 Location: School auditorium

👉 RSVP here to join us: https://rsvp.eftours.com/pv3sdbn

We’ll also open enrollment during the meeting—spots are limited, and I would love to help you secure this experience for your child.

In the meantime, please visit EF’s website to get answers to common parent questions. EF Tours is our trusted travel partner, and they have 60 years of experience helping students explore the world safely and affordably.

I hope to see you there and look forward to sharing how this trip can be a powerful and unforgettable chapter in your child’s life!

The Massachusetts AFL-CIO is pleased to announce the Annual Scholarship Awards Program. All graduating seniors in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts who are seeking a college degree or job training are eligible to compete. Scholarship awards this year total over half a million dollars.

To qualify, students must be a senior in high school, fill out the online application and then take our exam. Applicants must register in advance at https://massaflcio.org/scholarships. We will be accepting applications through Friday, December 19, 2025.The deadline is firm, and no late registrations will be accepted. The exam consists of 30 multiple choice questions and one written essay. All questions will be selected from the information in the study guide.

Exams will be administered online to registered students during the week of Monday, February 2, 2026, and Friday February 6, 2026. Once again, we will be using Classmarker to administer the exams online. Paper tests will be available upon request. Students will need access to a computer or tablet and all testing should be taken in school under supervision from an exam proctor.
