Shawsheen Valley Technical High School Awarded $75,000 Cummings Grant
Award to grow to $225,000 over three years to support CTE programs
Billerica, MA — [July 8, 2026] — Shawsheen Valley Technical High School has been awarded a $75,000 grant from Cummings Foundation, one of the largest private foundations in New England. The grant, awarded through Cummings' $35 Million Grant Program, may be renewed annually for up to three years, for a total investment of up to $225,000.
"We are grateful to Cummings Foundation for this generous investment in our students and programs," said Tony McIntosh, Superintendent of Shawsheen Valley Technical High School. "This kind of support allows us to continue building opportunities for our students and strengthening the CTE education we're able to offer our sending communities."
