Updated Bus Routes
Some changes have been made to SVTHS bus stops & pick-up times for multiple bus routes. Quarter 1 Mid-Term Progress Reports
Today marks the mid-term for the first quarter, and Q1 mid-term progress reports will be available to view in Aspen by next Friday, October 9, 2026. Quarter 1 will end on Friday, November 6, 2026, and Q1 Report Cards will be available to view in Aspen by Friday, November 13, 2026. Parent/Guardian-Teacher conferences will take place the following Thursday, November 19, 2026, from 5pm-8pm. Information on how to schedule conferences will be shared closer to that date.
Financial Aid Information Night for Juniors & Seniors
Attention Families of Shawsheen Juniors & Seniors: On Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 6:00-7:30PM, the SVTHS Guidance Department will host our annual Financial Aid Information Night in the school auditorium. Amy Goulter, Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Lasell University, will be presenting information regarding the financial aid process. The target audience for this event is parents/guardians, but students are welcome to attend. Parents of 12th graders will find it most helpful, but 11th grade parents are welcome to attend to get a head start on the process.
Reminder: ATTENTION SENIORS! Cap & Gown Orders Due by Friday, November 6, 2026
Orders for graduation cap & gown packages must be placed with Jostens by Friday, November 6, 2026, and senior families will start receiving emails from Jostens about this next week. There are a number of package options to choose from when placing your order. Students and families are welcome to order any packages they would like, but the only items that are required for the graduation ceremony (gown, cap, tassel, and stole) are all included in the option labeled "Graduation Kit Cap, Gown, Tassel" at a cost of $39.
