    Dear Shawsheen Students, Parents/Guardians, and Colleagues,  

    Please join me in congratulating our SkillsUSA district medalists! This year, 66 Shawsheen students earned medals, and 56 of those students earned qualifying scores to move on to the SkillsUSA State Competitions in late April. Congratulations to Shawsheen's 21 gold medalists, 27 silver medalists, and 18 bronze medalists - GO RAMS!

    Reminder: Class of 2027 Shop Selection - March 28 - 31

    Shop selection for the class of 2027 will begin at approximately 6pm tonight. All freshmen must complete the shop selection process in Aspen by 11:59pm on Sunday, March 31.     Exploratory Report Cards for Cycles 11-14 have been published and are available to view under the 'Published' section on the main page when you log into your Aspen Family Portal Account.

    2024 Culinary Burger Challenge

    Earlier this week, Shawsheen sent four juniors in Culinary Arts to compete against students from four other schools in the 3rd Annual Slider Challenge at Blackstone Valley Technical High School. Shawsheen won the popular vote from the 100 guests who were present to sample sliders from the four schools competing. Congratulations to these talented students!!!

    Reminder: FREE Math & Biology MCAS Academy 

    The following message is from Ms. Jessica Brierley, MCAS Remediation Coordinator:

    Attention all sophomore students, parents & guardians: Shawsheen is offering another FREE program to help students prepare for the Mathematics and Biology MCAS exams during April break. View the attached flyers regarding this unique opportunity to prepare and pass the final two MCAS tests of the year! Questions? Contact: Mrs. Jessica Brierley at jebrierley@shawtech.org.

     

    Reminder: Wednesday, April 3 is a Half Day for Students

    Next week, students will be dismissed at 10:43am on Wednesday, April 3, for the half-day that was added to the revised version of this year's school calendar, which was approved in February 2024. 2023-2024 SVTHS School Calendar - revised February 2024
