Congratulations to our recent graduates in the Class of 2024! We are so proud of this impressive group and all of their accomplishments and look forward to learning about their growth, achievements, and contributions to the community in the years and decades to come. Shawsheen Valley Technical High School’s Sarah Johansen Named Sole Massachusetts CTE student in 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholars Cohort
Shawsheen Valley Technical High School is proud to announce that Sarah Jane Johansen has been named the sole Massachusetts Career and Technical Education (CTE) student to be recognized as a 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholar. U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona revealed the prestigious list on May 9th, selecting Sarah as one of only 161 recipients from a pool of over 5,700 candidates nationwide. This is an incredible accomplishment! No School - Wednesday, June 19, 2024
Please remember that there is no school next Wednesday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.
Last Day of School
Next Thursday, June 20, 2024 will be the last day of school for students in grades 9-11. Please remember that the last day of school will be a half-day with a student dismissal time of 10:43am.
Grade 9-11 Students Will Keep School-Issued Laptops Over the Summer
Students in grades 9-11 will keep their school-issued laptops over the summer - we will not be collecting them. Students will be expected to bring their laptops with them when they return to school in the fall.
