    Dear Shawsheen Students, Families, and Colleagues:

     

    Quarter 1 mid-term progress reports were finalized and published in Aspen last Friday, and as of today, there are only two weeks left until the end of the first quarter. Students and families are reminded that staff are available after-school for extra help at least two days per week, the library is staffed after school until 5:30pm every Monday-Thursday (except on early release days), and students are able to access late bus transportation at 3:20pm every Monday-Thursday (except early release days) and at 5:40pm every Monday-Friday.     Graduation Cap & Gown Orders Due by November 1, 2024

    Earlier this month, Jostens emailed information about how to order graduation cap and gown packages to senior families. There are a number of package options to choose from when placing your order. Students and families are welcome to order any packages they would like, but the only items that are required for the graduation ceremony (gown, cap, tassel, and stole) are all included in the Essential Package for $35.     College & Career Planning Night for the Classes of 2025 & 2026 - Thursday, October 24, 2024

    The following message is from the SVTHS Guidance Department:

    On Thursday, October 24th from 6:00-8:00PM, we will be hosting our College & Career Night in the Shawsheen Tech Gymnasium. Come meet representatives from a variety of public & private colleges & universities, technical institutes, and military representatives. Parents/Guardians and students are encouraged to attend!

     

    Financial Aid Night - Wednesday, November 6, 2024

    The following message is from the SVTHS Guidance Department:

    Attention Parents & Guardians of 11th & 12th grade students: on Wednesday, November 6th from 6:00-7:30PM, we will hold our Financial Aid Night. Amy Staffier, Director of Financial Aid from Simmons University, will be presenting information regarding the financial aid process. The target audience for this event is parents/guardians, but students are welcome to attend. Parents of 12th graders will find it most helpful but 11th grade parents are welcome to attend to get a head start on the process.

     

    Fall Advisory Dinner Thank You!

    Thank you to the staff, students, parents/guardians, co-op employers, industry leaders, and community partners who attended Shawsheen's Fall Advisory dinner last night to engage in important conversations focusing on each of our CTE programs. A special shout out is deserved for the students and staff in Culinary Arts/Hospitality Management for the exceptional meal they prepared and served last night!
