All Night Graduation Party
All Night Graduation Party Rules
June 6th 2019 10:00pm to June 7th 2019 at 5:00am
The All Night Graduation (ANG) party is a safe, fun, substance-free celebration open to all graduates and held on graduation night. The party begins at 10pm and ends at 5am the following morning! In the past the ANG has had a bungee run, obstacle course, tattoo artists, caricature artists, card games, a hypnotist and many other exciting activities for our graduates. All guests receive a ‘goody bag’ filled with various small items they will find useful as they move on to the next phase of their lives (toothbrushes, pens, key-chains, note paper, etc.). There will be a t-shirt designed exclusively for them by one of their classmates! They will also receive a door prize such as a beach chair, gas card, gift card, or college/office supplies just because they attend this celebration! Of course there is also food, music and fun all night long!
We have very strict guidelines in place to insure the safety of all graduates throughout the night. Teachers, parents and Billerica police officers are on hand to help keep things moving smoothly. This is a substance-free event! All guests must arrive by 11pm and parents are contacted if a guest has not arrived by that time. Guests are required to stay until 5am unless parent permission is given. Only graduates may attend this event and no one is allowed to leave the building. This helps to keep our graduates safe and allows them to celebrate in grand fashion one last time with their classmates.
Planning for this party begins months ahead of time! It is a huge and costly endeavor. The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) holds various fundraisers throughout the school year in order to keep the cost minimal for the graduates. Please click here to see how you can help with a monetary donation.
Besides the money, a party of this size requires the support of many volunteers to plan, organize, set up, chaperone and clean up. There are many ways you can help: donate a case of water or soda, donate a gift to be given as a door prize (all guests get one!), donate 300 of an item to go into the ‘goody’ bags. But, most importantly, we ask that you donate your time. Come to our meetings where you can sign up to help with decorations, organizing the party, organizing the gifts or food or making phone calls. On the day of the party we need people to set up the decorations, chaperone the party, and clean up the next morning. There are all kinds of ways you can help to make this event successful! Any amount of time you can give will be very much appreciated.
It doesn’t matter what grade your child is in we need your help! This party provides a wonderful way for the graduates to celebrate with their friends on this very exciting night, but it is also provides a great relief for parents who can sleep soundly knowing their sons and daughters are safe! The sooner you become involved with the All Night Grad Party, the more fun you will have!
