Welcome to the Shawsheen Valley Technical School district web site!  My name is Tony McIntosh, and I am the proud Superintendent – Director of Shawsheen Valley Technical School. I am a graduate of a Massachusetts technical school, and the proud father of three technical school graduates. It is my goal to provide you with up-to-date and easy-to-navigate resources relating to all the technical, academic, and extracurricular activities that are offered at Shawsheen Valley Technical School. I encourage you to check back frequently as we are constantly adding new content and updating website information.

Shawsheen Valley Technical School has a proud history of supporting all students, regardless of the path that they decide to follow upon leaving the school. Many of our graduates are working for local companies and supporting our sending communities right out of high school. Other students choose to pursue additional education and are equally well prepared to pursue this option upon graduating from Shawsheen Valley Technical School. We are proud to support our surrounding communities by providing workforce development and training opportunities for adult learners from our service area.

Our cooperative education program is a cornerstone of the school and offers yet another opportunity to support our sending communities. Shawsheen typically only offers admission to a portion of the students that have submitted applications, so the importance of following these procedures cannot be over-emphasized.

Our school continues to add to its fifty-plus-year tradition of excellence with constant investments in staffing, equipment, and technology. I encourage you to follow our sports teams as they compete successfully in a variety of interscholastic programs, and to follow our students as they excel in local, state, and national Skills USA competitions.  Most importantly, I encourage you to capture the essence of being a member of the Ram family by visiting this site continuously and by providing your input to ensure we continue to improve the opportunities we are privileged to provide the residents of our member communities.
