A field that anticipates a high demand for skilled mechanics and technicians, the HVAC&R program ensures that students are skilled in the operation, design, installation, troubleshooting and repair of air conditioning, refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment. The curriculum includes both off-site and shop learning opportunities with real-world applications.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Students can apply completed hours toward Oil Burner and/or Refrigeration Apprentice and Technician licenses.
- Articulation agreements exist with several colleges for students to receive credit for coursework completed while at Shawsheen.
